MAG Transfer Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to transfer bookings made on the official Manchester Airport website, the official Stansted Airport website and the official East Midlands International Airport website (each a “Website”). In this document, a ‘transfer’ refers to the journey from or to an airport using a method of transfer including a bus, coach, train, private taxi or private mini-bus.
Please read these terms and conditions through carefully.
1.1 These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to all bookings for services made via the Website. We act only as booking agent for the Transfer Provider, we do not provide the transfers. You will also be contracting with the company or individual providing you with the transfer service (“Transfer Provider”) and you will be subject to the Transfer Provider’s terms and conditions, which are available directly from the Transfer Provider.
1.2 These Terms are governed by English law and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in either the Scottish or the English courts. If you live in Northern Ireland you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in either the Northern Irish or the English courts.
1.3 The official Manchester Airport website is owned by Manchester Airport Plc (MA Plc) (Company number: 01960988) which is incorporated in England. The registered office is Manchester Professional Services Limited, PO BOX 532, Town Hall, Manchester, M60 2LA.
The official Stansted Airport website is owned by Stansted Airport Limited (STAL) (Company number: 1990920) which is incorporated in England. The registered office is London Stansted Airport, Enterprise House, Bassingbourne Road, Essex, United Kingdom, CM24 1QW.
The official East Midlands International Airport website is owned by East Midlands International Airport Limited (EMAL) (Company number: 02078271) which is incorporated in England. The registered office is Building 34, East Midlands Airport, Castle Donnington Derby, East Midlands, DE74 2SA.
1.4 In these Terms "you" and "your" refer to the person who makes a booking for the services on the Website and "we" and "us" refers to the applicable owner of the Website, as described above. The contract for transfers is made between you and the Transfer Provider.
1.5 Manchester Airport PLC, Stansted Airport Limited and East Midlands International Airport Limited are subsidiaries of MAG Airport Limited (MAG) which is registered for VAT under number 707 7228 31.
1.6 We reserve the right, without notice, to amend the specification of the products or services presented on this site and to discontinue any product or service and all bookings are subject to this right.
1.7 We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time, but once you have made a booking the Terms which apply are those which were on the Website at the time of booking. We recommend that you always read these Terms before booking, to satisfy yourself that you accept them.
1.8 These Terms, along with all other relevant terms and conditions that are referred to in these Terms and any other terms referred throughout the booking process (including those of the Transfer Provider, those available online from third party operators and our sales agents), constitute the entire agreement between you and us with respect to the sale of the transfer services.
1.9 We reserve the right if prevented from fulfilling a booking due to circumstances outside of our control to cancel your contract and we will refund the payment received in respect of the booking to the credit/debit card used for payment. We will attempt to provide as much notice as is possible. We will not be responsible for any other costs, which you may incur caused by circumstances outside of our control.
1.10 No person has any authority to vary or alter these Terms and Conditions unless such variation is in writing under the hand of the Company Secretary or a Director of the applicable Website.
1.11 Although we attempt to provide our customers with a satisfactory service should you have any complaints, please use our online feedback process based on the Website in which your transfer booking was made, as follows:

2. Your Booking
2.1 Bookings can be made by persons aged 18 years or over.
2.2 Bookings via our Website are deemed to have been made final once a booking reference number has been issued. All Terms are deemed to have been accepted when a booking reference number has been issued.
2.3 All bookings for transfers are subject to availability.
2.4 It is your responsibility to ensure that you provide a valid contact number and email address to us at the time of the booking.
2.5 You must read the confirmation email before you travel to ensure that you have all the necessary information and documentation. We would recommend that you print off your confirmation email and take it when travelling to your chosen airport or destination.
2.6 We will not accept any liability for any costs you incur or any losses you suffer due to your failure to provide a valid contact number and email address or as a result of your failure to read the confirmation email before travelling.
2.7 Bookings are personal to you, and you must not resell or transfer any booking (in whole or in part).
3.1 Payment must be made in advance and online. Payment may be made using one of the payment methods set out on the Website. Payment will be processed by Looking4Parking Limited, a subsidiary of MAG. We reserve the right not to accept your booking and the Transfer Provider reserves the right to fulfil your booking if your card is declined for any reason, if the payment card has been used fraudulently or without the cardholder's permission, or if you are under the age of 18.
3.2 The price you pay is the price accepted and confirmed to you during the online or phone booking process. All prices are in pounds sterling and include Value Added Tax and all applicable taxes.
3.3 When you have completed your booking having provided all of the necessary details, we will send you email confirmation of your booking. You are responsible for supplying a valid email and we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery due to transmission failure or an incorrect address details provided to you.
4.1 A booking may be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the date when the transfer is due to commence.
4.2 To cancel a booking please contact us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org during office hours quoting your booking reference number. All National Express, Autostradale, Plus Group, Sageb, Sitbus, Prestia e Comande and all Train & Tram (including the Express Train) transfers are non-refundable; for all other transfers a cancellation fee of £5.00 or €5.00 (dependent upon booking currency) will be deducted from the refunded booking amount.
4.3 All cancellations must be notified directly to the Transfer Provider to be valid for any refund. Customers who cancel within 48 hours of the date when the transfer is due to commence or who do not turn up for the service, or who do not turn-up in time at the airport to catch their flight shall not be refunded.
4.4 All refunds will be processed as quickly as possible and will be debited to the original form of payment and account which is used at time the booking was made.
4.5 If we cancel your booking for a reason within our direct control and not due to an event beyond our control (see Section 6 below) then we will refund the amount we received from your pre-booking to you on the card on which payment was made.
5.1 Amendments can generally be made up 48 hours prior to the date when the transfer is due to commence. This service is free of any administration charges, however if the new booking price following an amendment is higher than the price of the original booking, the difference will always be charged.
5.2 Amendments will be subject to the Transfer Provider’s booking conditions, they may charge you amendment fees in addition to any cost increases of payment charges.
5.3 National Express transfers; although once purchase your ticket is not refundable but the journey date and time can be changed prior to your current departure date and time. Amendments must be made prior to the journey (whether outbound or return) by calling (0044) 08717 818178 (lines are open 24/7). An amendment fee will apply so have credit/debit card details at hand. Please note that an excess fare will also be charged where a higher fare category applies.
5.4 The company shall not be responsible if a requested amendment cannot be fulfilled. All booking requests are to be made by email to email@example.com and include; your booking/order reference number and full details of required changes.
6. Events beyond our control
6.1 We do not accept liability for any failure by us to perform our obligations due to an event beyond our reasonable control. A non-exhaustive list of such events includes war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist threats or activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, volcanic eruption or ash cloud, government regulations, closure or congestion of airports, and / or cancellation or changes of schedules by airlines.
6.2 Except as expressly stated in these Terms, we shall not be obliged to either refund any pre-payment by you, or make any other change to your booking in the event that you wish to amend or cancel your booking due to an event of the kind listed in paragraph 6.1.
7. Our liability to you
7.1 We are only responsible for taking your booking either on the Website, as set out in these Terms. We are not responsible or liable for fulfilling the transfer, this is the Transfer Provider’s responsibility.
7.2 Nothing in these Terms limits our liability in the case of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or in the case of fraud.
7.4 Without prejudice to paragraph 8.5 of these Terms, we do not accept liability for:
- any indirect or consequential loss; or
- any loss of profit, loss of enjoyment, loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of earnings.
8. Transfer Providers Terms and Conditions
8.1 All bookings are accepted subject to the current terms and conditions of the Transfer Provider, a full copy of which is available upon request. The following terms are highlighted for information only.
8.2 The Transfer Provider accepts no responsibility or liability for any theft, loss or damage to any personal property.
8.3 Children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult unless otherwise stated by the Transfer Provider.
8.4 The Transfer Provider reserves the right to refuse carriage to any person (both before and during the transfer) who, at the sole discretion of the transfer provider’s representative:
- is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
- has or is thought to have an infectious disease;
- smokes or consumes alcohol or attempts to smoke or consume alcohol in the vehicle;
- does or most probably would pollute the vehicle with his/her clothing or baggage;
- behaves in a way that is disruptive in any way;
- affects the passengers’ safety or that of the driver of the vehicle;
- behaves or appears in a way that is disturbing; and/or
- acts in any way that is prohibited by the laws of the transfer destination country.
8.5 The Transfer Provider accepts no liability for loss or damage unless and to the extent it is proved to be caused by the negligence of the Transfer Provider.
8.6 Unless otherwise stated, the transfer fee at most of the company’s destinations includes the transportation of one piece of baggage per person.
